The Vintage Book Sale is back! May 31 and June 1 are the dates to visit the museum barn to find treasured books, some over 100 years old. We will be selling vintage books for both children and adults. Many extremely rare books are likely to intrigue you, well known books too. Our book prices are much lower than you’ll find on line.

Pat McCoid, owner of Gig Harbor Book Company, will again be available to estimate the price of one vintage book you bring.

The sale will run from 1 – 4 P.M. on both Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st. We hope to see all of you bibliophiles there enjoying the search.

Memorial Day Ceremony at the Fox Island Cemetery

Please join us for a ceremony for the deceased War Veterans of Fox Island and their supporters who have honored themselves and our country in defense of its freedom. Flag raising and salute by the Boy Scouts, placing of the wreath, Invocation, Cootiette Prayer, reading of the names, singing of America the Beautiful, playing of Taps.

All you can eat pancakes with juice and coffee. For all of you “Hamsters” out there we will once again have an option with ham. Adults $5, kids $4, under 2 FREE! Add $2 for a serving of ham. Seating in the museum and the barn. Rain or shine. Come and join us for this traditional get-together.
